| | Slams: ∞ | I've made a small visual modification to the comments and bbs posts. I removed the profile link and made it so that you click on the displayname instead, I think this is much cleaner
I know you think you understand what you
thought I said but I'm not sure you realize
that what you heard is not what I meant. |
| Shockwave | 08-09-2008 18:01 | | Slams: 2115 | Thanks Tetra
It all looks fine now.
|
| Stormbringer | 08-09-2008 13:36 | | Slams: 5896 | thanks for the lightning-fast fixes! great job
http://www.retro-remakes.net |
| | Slams: ∞ | The files are re-uploaded, Shockwave you will have to restore your remakes details if I got them wrong.
My fix had actually worked and I didnt really need to revert back, however you were indeed unable to rate comment or effect the download counter because of line of code I deleted by accident ^_^ really sorry about that, but its all up and running now and the only issue is a slight disparity with a couple of the download counters, but I will fix that at a later date.
I know you think you understand what you
thought I said but I'm not sure you realize
that what you heard is not what I meant. |
| Stormbringer | 08-09-2008 08:08 | | Slams: 5896 | shall we reupload them?
http://www.retro-remakes.net |
| | Slams: ∞ | I've reverted the database, sorry for the inconvenience, I've only reverted the productions table, so this has removed your latest productions uploaded since 'Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters' I will have to carry on tomorrow with it as i'm very tired atm and think I will make things worse if I carry on, tomorrow I will be able to devote the hours needed to fix the problem. I will update you soon with a definite fix.
I know you think you understand what you
thought I said but I'm not sure you realize
that what you heard is not what I meant. |
| | Slams: ∞ | can you give me specifics? I must say I rushed the fix in-between work shifts, tomorrow is my day off so I will be able to do more in the day time, I will look into it further, I have a backup of everything before my fix, so I will restore it if needed and things will revert back to how it was, sorry about the hiccup.
p.s I'm going to revert the database and check my fix actually worked, I did'nt have the time to test it my self.
I know you think you understand what you
thought I said but I'm not sure you realize
that what you heard is not what I meant. |
| Shockwave | 07-09-2008 19:26 | | Slams: 2115 | Hmm I cant seem to rate them either.
|
| hellsangel | 07-09-2008 19:22 | | Slams: 5393 | err...I can't rate anymore the 2 last intros !?!
|
| Shockwave | 07-09-2008 19:09 | | Slams: 2115 | Thanks for the bugfix Tetra, it's appreciated
However it's not working right for me now.. There are many prods on the not commented and not downloaded and not voted lists that I have done all three to.
Sorry!
|
| | Slams: ∞ | I've corrected the bug causing the problem, and I've fixed the corrupted data in the database, hopefully it should all be working correctly now
Back to work for me now, I'm running late
I know you think you understand what you

| Stormbringer | 07-09-2008 07:54 | | Slams: 5896 | @ghost: hi mate! yes, kkrunchy (the cruncher used for most of the prods here) is often seen as a virus. That's because its creates a simplified PE executable (basically removes tons of crap in the M$ executable format, among other things). Some anti-virus programs see this as a threat. I'm running AVG anti-virus here and everything seems fine. Anyone else has detected a virus around here? Let me know

| | Slams: 262 | Don't know why, maybe the packer your using. But I'm getting virus alerts on the downloads.
Using NOD32 virus scanner. I'm sure it's a false hit but thought you would like to know.

| Stormbringer | 06-09-2008 22:23 | | Slams: 5896 | Thanks Tetra! great news
http://www.retro-remakes.net |
| | Slams: ∞ | I've spotted the bug, not to worry, no data has been lost, I will correct the problem later tonight when I get back. It's only a display issue, so you can carry on voting and commenting etc with no problems.
@ghost - Thanks m8

| Stormbringer | 06-09-2008 20:34 | | Slams: 5896 | I also have a similare bug on "prods I have not downloaded"... it seems that there is a queue for these per user. If you empty the queue of "not downloaded" prods and new one is posted, a old prod becomes "not downloaded" again... seems quite similar to hellsangel's bug but for another queue.. Am I right?
http://www.retro-remakes.net |
| hellsangel | 06-09-2008 20:01 | | Slams: 5393 | a little bug : I have in my list of "prod I have not voted on" 2 prods already voted...(Creatures and Bluemax)
